Valerie June is a Tennessee-born singer-songwriter who weaves electric blues, African rhythms, and cosmic atmospherics with delicate soul. Her 2013 album Pushin’ Against A Stone and 2017’s The Order Of Time were both lauded by critics and appeared on numerous ‘best of’ lists. Valerie’s new album The Moon And Stars: Prescriptions For Dreamers is newly released via Fantasy Records / Concord and already receiving rave reviews, including Essence, NPR, Pitchfork, New York Times, Uncut, The Atlantic, and UK’s The Times who declare this “a contender for Album Of The Year.”
