Gentle Yoga with Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center | KCRW’s 24 Hours of Serenity

Join Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center for an hour of early morning yoga. Gentle Yoga starts with plenty of warm-ups for joint mobility. This class proceeds at a slower pace, with breathing exercises, adapted sun salutations, a shorter series of asanas, including a couple of restorative poses. Build up your strength, flexibility and endurance gradually.
The Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center is a volunteer-based non-profit, which has been offering traditional, classical yoga in Los Angeles for 50 years. They practice and teach the ancient yogic knowledge of health, peace, unity in diversity and Self-realization with the intention to help all realize their highest potential and find inner peace. Inner peace will bring outer peace.

24 Hours of Serenity is free and open to the public starting on Wednesday, March 31st at 12pm noon, you only need to RSVP to attend.
