October 3, 2017 • 7:30 pm PDT

As part of Werk It, a 3-day festival celebrating women podcasters, WNYC Studios and KCRW bring you a live taping of BuzzFeed’s award-winning podcast, Another Round. Join Tracy Clayton and Heben Nigatu as they knock back a few and take on the colorful, crazy world around them. Why are bigots so bad at graphic design? How come nobody knows how cute bats are? Why is therapy so hard? As the bourbon flows, Heben and Tracy will explore race, gender, pop culture, bad jokes, and more with Very Special Guest Amber Rose, plus more surprises to be announced.

ABOUT THE HOSTS
In 2016, Heben and Tracy were named Fast Company‘s Most Creative People and The Root’s 100 Most Influential African-Americans. Nigatu has been named Forbes‘ 30 Under 30 in Media, one of Brooklyn Magazine‘s 50 Funniest People, and one of Marie Claire’s 50 most Influential Women. Clayton has been named the Anna Julia Cooper Center’s Ida B. Wells Media Expert-In-Residence for the 2016-2017 year.

HEBEN NIGATU is a writer, comedian, and America’s Foremost Public Intellectual. She is the co-host of the podcast Another Round, which has been called the “Beyoncé of podcasts” by a human who is definitely not her. She brings her love of Vines (R.I.P.) and knowledge of issues of race, gender, media and pop culture to all of her work and only loves one thing more than her favorite shows: mangoes.

TRACY CLAYTON is a writer, humorist, and co-host of the critically-acclaimed BuzzFeed podcast Another Round. Tracy tweets at @brokeymcpoverty and writes about injustices she hates, animals she loves, men she wants to marry, women she wants to be, liquor, and the great city of Louisville.
