In the summer of 1967, peace, love and flowers reign. Psychedelia is on the rise, and music is everywhere! The hippies may have dispersed, but the music kept going. Many of the artists who rocked San Francisco made their way down the coast to the Sunset Strip where the party never stopped.
The GRAMMY Museum® has teamed up with Andaz West Hollywood, the most iconic music hotel on the famed Sunset Strip, to showcase never-before-seen posters celebrating The Psychedelic Art of The Summer of Love. The exclusive collection features original posters from notable 1960s visual psychedelic artists, including Wes Wilson, Bonnie MacLean, Jim Blashfield, Greg Irons, and Stanley Mouse. Experience the spirit of the 1960s and the Summer of Love at this new exhibit, on display and open to the public now through October 25, 2018 at the Andaz West Hollywood. |
