The Night Sky Show

Santa Monica College’s John Drescher Planetarium continues its Friday evening events in February 2021 with free, live virtual shows presented online. The friendly presentations will provide updates on the orbiters and rovers scheduled to arrive at Mars in the coming weeks. With the latest news and images from these missions, and details of what to expect as they unfold.

The Night Sky Show is a short program with the latest news in space exploration and astronomy. The program uses freeware sky visualization tools to show you the constellations, planets, and deep sky objects in the Southern California night sky. The show will last about 30 minutes, followed by a short Q&A when guests can type questions into a chat box.
