The Night Sky Show

Santa Monica College’s John Drescher Planetarium continues its Friday evening events in February 2021 with free, live virtual shows presented online. The friendly presentations will provide updates on the orbiters and rovers scheduled to arrive at Mars in the coming weeks. The night features two segments:

7:00 PM – The Night Sky Show

The Night Sky Show is a short program with the latest news in space exploration and astronomy. The program uses freeware sky visualization tools to show you the constellations, planets, and deep sky objects in the Southern California night sky.

8:00 PM – Mars Probe Arrival Updates

Updates with the latest news and images from the current Mars missions, and details of what to expect as they unfold.
