The Elephant 6 Recording Co. LA Film Premiere + Tribute Concert

The Elephant 6 Recording Company & collective, which included bands like Neutral Milk Hotel, the Olivia Tremor Control, the Apples In Stereo, Elf Power, of Montreal, becomes more mythic and influential every year. This year is no different: The new documentary The Elephant 6 Recording Co., set for theatrical release on August 25, is an incredible opportunity to revisit Elephant 6’s legacy and to discuss how their music still resonates with young fans who discover the collective today.

On Friday, August 11, the Barnsdall Gallery Theater will host a special LA premiere event around the film, featuring live musical performances and special guests.
