Taj Mahal

Mandolin presents a live stream concert series with Taj Mahal from the UC Theatre. Taj Mahal is one of the most prominent figures in late 20th century blues. The singer and multi-instrumentalist played an enormous role in revitalizing and preserving traditional acoustic blues, and later explored a multitude of folk and roots music from around the world allowing him to present the blues as part of a wider musical context. 

The March 20th show will feature a Roots Rising Showcase hosted by Taj Mahal, featuring Amythyst Kiah, Annie Mack, Leyla McCalla, and more.
