SPRING/BREAK

SPRING/BREAK returns to a former 1940s munitions factory in Culver City in an ongoing embrace of unexpected, reimagined spaces (its LA debut in 2019 was held in a former fruit and vegetable warehouse). This curator-led fair promotes experimentation by nixing participation fees in favor of taking a small percentage of artist sales. The hope is that artists will lean into creating more immersive installations.

This year’s fair offers over 60 exhibitions revolving around the theme “Naked Lunch,” inspired by the Manet painting “Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe” (“The Luncheon on the Grass”). Tickets range from $30 to $100 and are available here for purchase.
