Repatriation and Ruin

The Hammer Museum presents the third installment of their Reimagining the Museum series, which is organized around documentary and experimental films that critique ethnographic collecting practices and narratives of Africa as written by Western art institutions. This program will focus on the short films of Nii Kwate Owoo and Onyeka Igwe. After the screenings, curator and cultural historian Clémentine Deliss will join the artists in conversation.
