Quince Night II celebrates the storied Latinx tradition of the Quinceañera, while also raising funds and awareness for women empowerment projects at four Los Angeles-based non-profit organizations.

Quince Night is happening on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Plaza de la Raza in Lincoln Heights (3540 North Mission Road in Los Angeles). 100 percent of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit women empowerment projects at local non-profit organizations: Peace Over Violence, CARECEN Los Angeles, Let’s Give and Girls Today, Women Tomorrow.

Quince Night II will feature live musical performances from up-and-coming, local and Latinx artists, including Vel The Wonder and Katzú Oso, a DJ set from KCRW’s Jeremy Sole and art on display from local artists. Guests can indulge themselves in delicious food, a craft beer garden, hosted by Lincoln Heights’ own Wiretap Brewing, and a pop-up marketplace, featuring a curated selection of local artisans and community resource tables. Award-winning photographer Lorena Endara has created a unique Quinceañera-themed photo booth experience and will be taking complimentary studio portraits for guests.

Tickets start at $15 for general admission and may be purchased at quincenight.com. Festivities begin at 7PM and end at 12 midnight.
