Musical Event in Support of Affordable Mental Health Services

Open Paths Counseling Center, a Culver City based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, will host a musical event featuring new works by top television and film composers at Music for the Soul, a fundraiser in support of their low fee mental health services. The event will take place at Culver City Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium, October 5th, 6:30 pm.

A forty person choir will perform new works by composers who include John Debney (The Greatest Showman, The Passion of the Christ, Iron Man 2), Alex Wurman (March of the Penguins, Anchorman, Perpetual Grace),Christopher Lennertz (Supernatural, Bad Moms, The Boys, Ride Along), Joe Trapanese (Stuber, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman) and Anton Sanko (Big Love, The Romanoffs, The Possession, Siren).

In addition to this one of a kind musical event, Open Paths Counseling Center will be presenting two awards: State Senator Holly Mitchell will receive the Mental Health Champion award for her ongoing work advocating for mental health resources throughout the state, and Gerry Grossman, LMFT, will receive the Lifetime Achievement award for his work training mental health professionals for over thirty years.

Featuring Culver City culinary landmark, Tito’s Tacos, and other small bites and libations, Music for the Soul is a not to be missed event!
