Mariza

The Town Hall presents an exclusive streaming concert with Portuguese Fado singer Mariza. This event was recorded in Lisbon, Portugal, in celebration of the release of Mariza’s album Mariza Sings Amália which pays tribute to the late Amália Rodrigues, the Queen of Fado. The album was recorded between Lisbon and Rio de Janeiro, and was made in collaboration with Brazilian musician and producer Jaques Morelenbaum, who has regularly collaborated with Ryuichi Sakamoto and Caetano Veloso.
