The California African American Museum presents In Conversation: Lynell George and adrienne maree brown on Octavia E. Butler. Lynell George is a journalist and essayist who wrote A Handful of Earth, A Handful of Sky: The World of Octavia E. Butler. She will be discussing this book, her years of research, and the great resurgence of interest in Butler with writer, doula, and pleasure activist adrienne maree brown, co-editor of Octavia’s Brood: Science Fiction Stories from Social Justice Movements.
