As states move to legalize marijuana, it remains a controversial topic, especially when it comes to treating patients medicinally. But one thing is certain: Cannabis is less addictive than opiates when it comes to pain management. That’s why in the U.S., the most common use of medical marijuana is to control chronic pain.

KCRW’s Bodies podcast is hosting a discussion with two marijuana advocates about how medical marijuana has been effective in their own lives. Our guests will talk about how they came to use cannabis, from treating Crohn’s Disease to Endometriosis.

Do you use cannabis medicinally? Are you curious about what products are most effective? Come with questions and anecdotes for our guests.

This event is free with registration, with optional donations. A donation of $30 or more will enroll you in KCRW’s Fringe Benefits membership level (normally available at the $60 level and above)!
