LA Times Dinner Series: Kato X Nightshade Collaboration Dinner

L.A. Times Food team will host guests and chefs in a live video chat to accompany this first-of-its-kind dinner experience. Chefs Jon Yao of Kato and Mei Lin of Nightshade will create a dinner that brings their Taiwanese and Chinese influences together for a one-time-only takeout meal. LA Times food columnist Lucas Kwan Peterson will host the dinner guests and chefs, via video chat, for a lively discussion to accompany the meal.

Kato X Nightshade Dinner Menu:

1st Course: smoked kanpachi, charred scallion

2nd Course: dried scallop porridge, tomato, shacha

3rd Course: pork belly ssam, fish sauce caramel

Tickets for each dinner event are $175 per person and include a three-course meal with a cocktail pairing. Dinners will be available for pick up on the day of the scheduled event. Ticketholders will receive instructions for any preparation required at home and for joining the virtual supper club to dine together, online.

Two ticket minimum per household.

Meal pick up information:

Guests will pick up their dinner packages prior to the scheduled online conversation experience with the chefs Saturday, September 5, 2020

Guests will re-heat the 3 course prepared meal at home while tuning in to the event at 6:30 PM.

All guests must be 21+. Guests must show I.D. when picking up dinner package at the restaurant. Due to the nature of this event, they are unable to issue refunds. All sales are final.
