LA Art Show
Jul 29 - Aug 1(All times are in PDT)
Los Angeles’ longest running art fair, the LA Art Show, kicks off its 26th year this weekend at the LA Convention Center downtown. Technology is a major focus of this year’s event, with many galleries taking up digital themes. Vellum LA will be presenting a selection of NFTs (non-fungible tokens) by women and non-binary artists, marking the first in-person art fair to exhibit NFT artworks. The Peru-based San Marcos Museum of Art will feature an artist exploring ideas of Andean techno de-colonial shamanism. Other projects focus on machine intelligence and media art produced during the pandemic.
