KCRW’s Ask An Expert: Navigating Unemployment & Rent Issues under COVID-19

Free

May 7, 2020 • 4:00 pm PDT

Free

Join Greater LA’s Steve Chiotakis and experts from the Bet Tzedek legal firm on Thursday, May 7  at 4pm as they answer your questions on unemployment and rent issues during COVID-19.

KCRW Hears You. It seems that we all have frustrating stories of navigating the unemployment system and confusion surrounding rent issues. As the COVID-19 shut-down enters its eighth week, a lot of us are feeling scared and helpless. Why is registering for unemployment so hard? And what does the term “rent deferment” really mean for you and the city you live in?

This event is free with registration, with optional donations. A donation of $30 or more will enroll you in KCRW’s Fringe Benefits membership level (normally available at the $60 level and above)!

Zoom link will be sent directly to attendees 30 minutes before the event.
