Summer Nights at the Hammer Museum
CUT CHEMIST
BUYEPONGO
KCRW DJ Anthony Valadez
Thursday, July 26th
7:30pm

KCRW DJ Anthony Valadez will launch the evening, followed by the vibrant polyrhythmic sounds of Buyepongo. And your Summer Nights at Hammer Museum are now complete with the trailblazing DJ/producer Cut Chemist. A founding member of both Jurassic 5 and Ozomatli, Cut Chemist recently released his long-awaited second full-length solo album Die Cut.

KCRW and the Hammer Museum present three free nights of live music in the Hammer courtyards starting at 7:30 p.m each night. Bring your dancing shoes! The museum’s gallery hours will be extended to 9:00 p.m. so guests can take in Made in L.A. 2018, a major exhibition that takes over the entire museum, showcasing artists from the greater Los Angeles area. Through drawings, paintings, sculpture, textiles, performance, video photography, and installations – many newly commissioned for Made in L.A. 2018 – these 33 artists exemplify the diverse and creative landscape of Los Angeles today.
