KCRW Partner Screening: ‘The Last Showgirl’

When the glittering Las Vegas revue she has headlined for decades announces it will soon close, Shelley, a glamorous showgirl must reconcile with the decisions she’s made and the community she has built as she plans her next act. The Last Showgirl, is a poignant film of resilience, rhinestones and feathers. Starring Pamela Anderson, as Shelley and co-starring Oscar®, SAG® Award and Golden Globe® winner Jamie Lee Curtis, as Shelley’s best friend, who brings her own unique interpretation and brilliance to the story.
