Battle of the Sexes is an entertaining, irreverent and sometimes dramatic retelling of one of the biggest cultural spectacles in history. The film delivers a behind-the-scenes dramatization of the personal lives of players Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs, as each of them also fought personal battles off the court, including Billie Jean’s coming to terms with her sexuality while humanizing the crusade for women’s equality.  From Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, the acclaimed directors of Little Miss Sunshine and written by Simon Beaufoy, the Academy Award winning writer of Slumdog Millionaire. Starring Academy Award winner Emma Stone and Academy Award nominee Steve Carell.
