Online

The International Documentary Association (IDA) is bringing together both films and their creators to industry insiders and film enthusiasts from October to January. This year’s Screening Series takes place online and is accessible from anywhere in the world. Films are available on demand for IDA members exclusively. Post-film conversation live streams with filmmakers and subjects are open to the public for FREE.

MLK/FBI is the first film to uncover the extent of the FBI’s surveillance and harassment of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Based on newly discovered and declassified files, the documentary explores the government’s history of targeting Black activists, and the contested meaning behind some of our most cherished ideals. Featuring interviews with key figures including former FBI Director James Comey and directed by Sam Pollard, MLK/FBI tells this astonishing and tragic story with searing relevance to our current moment.

Join Director Sam Pollard for a digital conversation moderated by Film Critic Lisa Kennedy. Closed-captioned and ASL interpreted.
