IDA Documentary Screening Series presents ‘Gunda’

The International Documentary Association (IDA) is bringing together both films and their creators to industry insiders and film enthusiasts from October to January. This year’s Screening Series takes place online and is accessible from anywhere in the world. Films are available on demand for IDA members exclusively. Post-film conversation live streams with filmmakers and subjects are open to the public for FREE.

Experiential cinema in its purest form, GUNDA chronicles the unfiltered lives of a mother pig, a flock of chickens, and a herd of cows with masterful intimacy. Using stark, transcendent black and white cinematography and the farm’s ambient soundtrack, director Victor Kossakowsky invites the audience to slow down and experience life as his subjects do, taking in their world with a magical patience and an other worldly perspective.
