IDA Documentary Screening Series presents ‘Dick Johnson is Dead’

The International Documentary Association (IDA) is bringing together both films and their creators to industry insiders and film enthusiasts from October to January. This year’s Screening Series takes place online and is accessible from anywhere in the world. Films are available on demand for IDA members exclusively. Post-film conversation live streams with filmmakers and subjects are open to the public for FREE.

While a lifetime of making documentaries has convinced her of the power of the real, Kirsten Johnson is ready to use every escapist movie-making trick in the book if it will help her 86 year old psychiatrist father elude death. Together, they will take the sting out of grief even if it kills them.
