FAQ

Why We Walk...

More than 57,000 of our L.A. County neighbors are now homeless — that’s enough to fill the Staples Center three times at a Clippers game. Those statistics represent:

  • A 23% increase since 2016
  • A 57% increase in veteran homelessness
  • A 20% increase in chronically homeless individuals
  • And 24,000 individuals experiencing homelessness for the first-time

We have positive momentum to build off of:

  • Angelenos voted to pass Prop HHH and Measure H to fund nearly $5 billion for building permanent supportive housing and providing services
  • HomeWalk is helping house more people than ever before, with 14,000 of our homeless neighbors housed last year — that’s 30% more than 2015

Put your best foot forward and help accomplish a truly #AmazingFeat!
