AXS presents An Evening with Hamilton Leithauser & Kevin Morby live from The Theatre at Ace Hotel on Wednesday, October 27. Best known as the frontman for the Walkmen, Hamilton Leithauser embarked on a solo career once that band went on hiatus following its 2011 album Heaven. Hamilton’s forthcoming album (released date TBA), was entirely written, recorded, and produced by Hamilton himself. Singer/songwriter Kevin Morby originally moved from his native Kansas City to Brooklyn in the mid-2000s, eventually joining the noise-folk group Woods on bass. He eventually broke out of the shadows into a fruitful solo career, penning songs that melded lyrical mystique with rootsy production.
