This is a night of Iranian music by the Iranian maestro Hamed Nikpay at the FREE Grand Performances in Downtown’s California Plaza
Iranian-born Hamed Nikpay learned to sing at the age of seven, encouraged by his mother who loved Persian music and poetry. Now regarded as one of Iran’s foremost vocalists, Nikpay’s mesmerizing voice and gripping musicianship come to Grand Performances for an emotive evening of Iranian melodies, complemented by inspired dancers.
