Grounding through the Sense Doors Meditation with InsightLA’s Thomas Davis | KCRW’s 24 Hours of Serenity
April 18, 2021 • 5:00 pm PDT
InsightLA presents a 30-minute meditation for grounding yourself through the sense doors with Thomas Davis. Thomas Davis leads InsightLA’s weekly Friday night People of Color Sangha. His orientation to the Mindful Awareness practice began at the East Bay Meditation Center in Oakland, CA, where he was introduced to the Theravadan tradition of Vipassana in 2012. Thomas is also a member of InsightLA’s Teacher Council.
InsightLA is a non-profit online meditation community providing high-quality mindfulness and compassion practices. For close to 20 years, InsightLA has offered classes, retreats, and special events that cater to both beginning meditators and those looking to deepen and sustain their practice. InsightLA is the only organization of it’s kind offering secular, evidenced-based mindfulness training and traditional Buddhist teachings within the Vipassana or Insight tradition.
