Santa Monica History Museum Offers Monthly Free Admission Day
SANTA MONICA, Calif. – The Santa Monica History Museum will offer free admission on Thursday, October 12th from noon to 8:00 PM at the Santa Monica History Museum at 1350 7th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401. All are invited to visit on this day to take advantage of free admission to the museum’s six galleries.
Free Admission Day is a monthly event, occurring on the second Thursday of every month. The museum’s main goal is to make the museum accessible to everyone. Museum Archivist Sara Crown says, “It’s a great opportunity for younger residents to discover something they may not have known about their own city, and a chance for older residents to come in and reminisce.”
Free admission includes both the museum’s permanent and temporary exhibits. With free admission, all are welcome to visit, bring family and friends, and enjoy a day of appreciating our local history and culture.
