On Monday, September 18, Morning Becomes Eclectic will be broadcasting live from the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Since 2012, KCRW and our generous supporters have sent more than half a million meals to communities and families in need through our food bank partners. To coincide with September’s Hunger Action Month, KCRW staff, hosts and DJs will roll up their sleeves to help lend a hand at the LA Regional Food Bank. We’ll be sorting food for underprivileged and food scarce-communities, while broadcasting live from their headquarters in South LA. This is a private event and will not be open to the public day-of. 

Also that day, we’ll be doubling all contributions to our food bank partners as part of our one-day ‘Double the Meals Monday’ Promotion.  When you support KCRW, choose to support the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank or Food Bank of Santa Barbara County instead of taking a thank you gift and we’ll send DOUBLE the meals to families in need — doubling your impact and support for two community institutions at once.
