What could possibly be good as a season of a show with behind the scenes credits so stellar, including award-winning playwright and TV writer Kate Robin (Six Feet Under). How about the second season of stand-up comedian and actress Tig Notaro’s half-hour comedy series for Amazon, One Mississippi? The curious, dry-witted, and wary Notaro blends in elements of her own life in this show, things that she talked about in her act and the documentary on her. In Mississippi, L.A. radio host Tig (Notaro) returns home to small town Mississippi after her mother dies and ends up staying. And in cruising through the fascinating contradictions of her home, with its confessional and conservative citizens, Tig discovers how much and how little she—and her former home—have changed. Notaro, Robin and other cast from the show will be in attendance for a Q&A after the screening of episodes from Season 2.
