Felix Art Fair

When Frieze Art Fair popped up in LA in 2019, Felix — an alternative fair that takes place in hotel rooms rather than white-walled fair booths — got in on the buzz. Although Frieze has moved this summer’s in-person event to an online-only presentation (also taking place this weekend), Felix is pressing on with their IRL gathering. 

Due to COVID concerns, Felix’s iteration will be scaled-down, and the “fair booths” will be indoor-outdoor poolside cabanas flanking a central courtyard area. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test result are required to attend. This year’s affair includes 29 LA-based participants, an apt hometown celebration to coincide with the inaugural Gallery Weekend.
