The City of Los Angeles and Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez invite you to ¡EL GRITO! 2020 Telethon — a benefit virtual concert to raise funds to support undocumented Angelenos impacted by COVID-19 and to kick off Latino Heritage Month.

The music lineup features a diverse mix of sounds ranging from mariachi, banda, trio, and Norteño including La Santa Cecilia, Ozomatli, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Weapons of Mass Creation, and much more!

El Grito is the celebration of Mexican Independence Day and the September Independence Days of Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Traditionally held on the steps of City Hall, this year’s El Grito will feature virtual musical performances to raise funds for Angelenos impacted by COVID-19.

The telethon will also highlight Los Angeles’ vibrant Latino community as well as showcase the immense contributions Latinos have made to the City’s culture, history, and economy.

El Grito Telethon can be viewed on ElGrito2020.com and will raise funds to support undocumented Angelenos impacted by COVID-19 via the Los Angeles based organization Comunidades Indígenas en Liderazgo (CIELO).
