Django à Gogo Festival

Best known for his original compositions “Bistro Fada” (Midnight in Paris) and “Big Brother” (Vicki Cristina Barcelona), Stephane Wrembel assembles the finest Django guitarists alive today for a weekend of shows and workshops January 27-29, 2023.
French living legends Raphael Fays, Laurent Hestin and Sebastien Felix join the stage to bring listeners to the very source of Manouche jazz, for a weekend highlighting the dynamic culture and community that thrives around Django’s music. Special guests include the Los Angeles-based musicians Tommy Davy (guitar) and Luanne Homzy (violin)
The Django A Gogo Music Festival is a world class showcase of gypsy jazz performed at the highest level of musicianship.
Nightly concerts are headlined by The Stephane Wrembel Band with special guests. The repertoire follows the Django canon and veers into reinterpretation, improvisation and interplay between musicians from various backgrounds.
Daily Master Classes deliver a first-class music program providing musicians of all levels and instruments access to the greatest knowledge and teachers available.
Jam sessions (free) are scheduled for 5pm on Saturday, January 28 and 3pm Sunday, January 29. No registration is required to participate, just bring your own instruments. Sessions take place in lounge or outside (weather dependent).
