Admiral James Stavridis, former Supreme Allied Commander for NATO, will discuss pressing international issues facing the US. Stavridis, the only admiral to hold the top military post at NATO, has a keen sense of how sea power has been critical to world power from the time that the Greeks and Persians engaged with their ships in the Mediterranean up until the present day, when the US dominates the oceans with its ten aircraft carrier battle groups. He will also talk about the delicate situation the country is facing after the recent cyber-attacks from North Korea and Russia, and why he says the best thing to do is retaliate with our own cyber-attacks.
