…T minus endless wait – the words ‘3…2…1…ignite’ – and launch of first ever Festival M.A.R.S.. In an elevated setting, above the heads of the many on a busy night at Angel City Brewery.  Composer & Turntable artist: Jorge Sanchez-Chiong dictates a crafted choreography of the LA native Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra – an orchestra senza conductor. As a well oiled and finely tuned space rover, exploring the soundscapes of new music for a 40 piece orchestra, Jorge creates overarching transitions of sound waves around the orchestra’s program, interweaving continuity and creating a silver lining of continuous electronica. Magnanimous waves of sound exploration will reverberate through the landscape of DTLA’s Arts District that day as new music will take it’s first steps on an uncharted unpredictable territory.
