About dublab: Since launching in 1999, dublab has been recognized as one of the pioneers of online radio, helping define the medium and influencing the international landscape of music streaming. dublab’s executive director, Alejandro Cohen, explains, “The 20th anniversary of dublab is not only a milestone for the station, but also for online radio as a whole. The station’s beginnings in 1999 helped pave the way for online radio to be recognized as a means capable of having a genuine audience and the capacity to build communities worldwide.” After 20 years of what the station calls “Future Roots Radio,” dublab continues to expand through its radio programs, events and affiliate stations in Japan, Spain, Germany and Brazil.
