KCRW is excited to team up with the beloved Downtown Long Beach music event, Buskerfest. Inspired by “buskers” (street corner musicians), Buskerfest is built around bringing music and music lovers to the streets of Downtown’s East Village for an evening of song, great food, flowing beer & community. Boasting four low-production stages, the event begins with a friendly competition featuring eight “minimally plugged in” local & regional bands. The winner receives a grand prize to advance their career, and bragging rights.
