Ben Williams

Ben Williams, acclaimed Grammy-winning bassist, composer, bandleader and frequent collaborator with the likes of Robert Glasper, Pat Metheny and Dianne Reeves… has developed a dark, righteous sound that covers the range of Black American music from Jazz and Gospel to Hip-Hop and R&B. Ben is a graduate of the Julliard School of music and winner of the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz International Bass Competition. In 2021, he relocated to Los Angeles, a city that he says gives him more space to focus on his art. Ben’s artistry continues to blossom wondrously as he makes ineradicable footprints in the expansive music world.
