Ballet Preljocaj’s Swan Lake

UCSB Arts & Lectures presents France’s Ballet Preljocaj in Swan Lake, February 25th and 26th at The Granada Theatre. Tackling the Mount Everest of the ballet world, Preljocaj‘s Swan Lake combines Tchaikovsky’s musical masterpiece with new arrangements in a timeless tale of love, betrayal, and seduction reinvented into a modern ecological tragedy. With 26 dancers, this beautiful tribute takes flight as an ingenious adaptation.
