An event every day that begins at 9:00 am, repeating until October 6, 2019
Join Mayor Eric Garcetti and thousands of neighbors during the Weekend to End Homelessness. In an effort to engage neighbors with their local homeless service providers their will be 9 events across all of Los Angeles County on October 3-6, Thursday-Sunday. There will be concerts, a car show, art exhibits, kids zones, and information sessions on how you can help. Here is a rundown of the events:
Thursday, October 3
Highland Park Community Connect Day and Hygiene Kit Donation Drive (12- 4 pm)
Services offered include Criminal Record Expungement, Traffic Ticket Clearing, Housing Resources, Health and Wellness and Haircuts. City Attorney Mike Feuer will be on-site at 1 pm.

Friday, October 4
Homelessness Immersion Experience (9 am – 2 pm)
Go through the process of getting housing and walk in the shoes of a person experiencing homelessness through a collaborative process with local providers.

Join Mayor Eric Garcetti, Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel, Councilmember Bob Blumenfield and Councilmember John Lee and learn how you can join your community in fighting homelessness – especially our seniors and transitional age youth experiencing homelessness.

Pop Up Art Exhibition Featuring Works of People Experiencing Homelessness (1 – 4 pm)
Live artwork and performances, kids zone and info fair. Accepting winter clothing donations.
