The Silicon Beach Film Festival will take place from April 22nd – 28th. Our main venue is the Cinemark 18XD located at the Howard Hughes Promenade conveniently located just north of LAX off the 405 Freeway. We will screen both feature-length and short films, as well as pilots and web series. We feature both narratives and documentaries. We screen independent films from all over the world with a major focus on Southern California filmmakers.

The 2nd Annual Silicon Beach Film Festival’s official Opening Night Filmmakers’ Meet and Greet with a special guest appearance by celebrity actress Alice Amter from the mega hit TV show The Big Bang Theory (you know her she plays Raj’s mom). This event marks the official kick off of this groundbreaking film festival where tech meets film & new media. Attendees can participate in a virtual scavenger hunt utilizing the Augmented Reality App technology created by StARlenz, where they can take virtual selfies with celebrities and filmmakers.
