Get funky with Ranky Tanky this summer at Sunset Concerts at the Skirball. Led by powerhouse vocalist and American Idol alum Quiana Parler, Ranky Tanky updates the musical tradition of the Carolina Sea Islands with gospel-style vocals, jazzy trumpet solos, and R&B and African rhythms. Performing tracks from their self-titled debut album, Ranky Tanky brings the music of the South Carolina Low Country to the Skirball’s courtyard.
