Asal Hazel at Touch Vinyl

Asal Hazel is a neo-soul songstress whose music is described as alternative R&B, with elements of soul, ethereal R&B, and pop. With the help of the Stones Throw/Akashik Records affiliated collective, the Persian-American Los Angeles native is wrapping up her debut project that she had begun independently back in 2015. She has curated a world of staggering dysphoria in the dreamy sounds birthed from lovelorn poetry and atmospheric vocal tone. Hazel’s lyrics are vulnerable, clever and revolve around themes of love, lust, and enlightenment. The debut project, Like Water, features production from Swarvy, and Stones Throw heavy hitters, such as MNDSGN, and Grammy-winning producer, Knxwledge, amongst others.
