is proud to partner with Zócalo Public Square to present Big Ideas
around town. On Friday, September 14, KCRW and Zócalo Public Square
present “Will Downtown Ever Work?” at the new Grand Park. Failed plans
for downtown are as reliable in L.A. as the sunshine. But now people are
coming downtown not just to work but also to live and play. A
panel of architects and urban planners visits Zócalo to discuss if
downtown has at last arrived, or if we’re about to be disappointed yet
